The ShipShape Link series references the massive chains used to anchor cargo ships. These chains are strong, weathered and often bear the visible marks of their manufacture. By translating these industrial forms into jewellery, Nicole explores the relationship between engineering and adornment — transforming something utilitarian into a refined sculptural object.

The Argentium silver links are fused shut, allowing the chain to be oxidised evenly and giving it a deeper, more durable finish.
