Looking for something special, but not finding what you want? Then a bespoke piece of jewellery may be the answer! Read on to find out more.
So, what does bespoke mean? Simply put, a bespoke piece of jewellery is one that was designed and made especially for you. It is as unique as you are and will fit you like a glove - one you won't want to take off.
Commissioning a bespoke piece of jewellery is an exhilarating process. You're about to take a leap of faith and dive into a world of design, gems, gold, and goldsmithing. You'll come away with the perfect piece of jewellery, but also an immensely rewarding/eye opening experience.
Why go bespoke?
There are various reasons why people choose to commission a bespoke piece of jewellery, but the most common ones are:
-
I just can't find that special piece I am looking for...
It often starts with a special occasion - maybe a big birhtday, an anniversary or an engagement. More often these days it is a special treat to self for a big achievement.
Maybe you've been up and down the high streets, but just can't find that engagement ring you're looking for. Or maybe you have this amazing zaney idea for a necklace that is just out of this world.
Then it is time to chat to a goldsmith like me
-
I have a piece I love but it's not working for me...
It is not unusual to outgrow the jewellery you love - it still means the world to you, but no longer suits who you've become. This jewellery is often wistfully relegated to a drawer to gather dust, but you can do better!
A goldsmith can often work with your jewellery and upgrade it, or make it into something new. Find out what your options are

I have quite a lot of jewellery sitting in a drawer gathering dust...
Inevitably we gather a lot of broken chains, missing earrings, and jewellery that just doesn't shine for us anymore. Or maybe you've inherited jewellery from a loved one that just isn't your style. You'd be surprised how even a few pieces add up to enough to make you something you'd love to wear.
Bring your jewellery in for assessment and a quick chat about the possibilities.

What customers say:
"A fantastic experience! Nicole provided great support during discussions we had around a custom piece which, given COVID, had to take place remotely. The design of both pieces was beautiful and the quality of the finish was really excellent. The speed with which they were sent out was greatly appreciated as was the rapid response and updates Nicole provided. Very highly recommended and I'd hope to buy more from Nicole in future." — Kevin N.

"Thank you for the earrings which I collected this morning. I am really delighted with them - better than I dared hope when I lost them. Well worth the wait!" — Sinead McM.
