Traditionally a compass rose was worn by sailors as a symbol for luck and in hopes of returning to shore alive. Nowadays it is often a symbol for focus, direction and moving forward in life.
Long time ago Brendan’s wife gifted him a pendant of a compass rose and over time it has become a hugely important symbol to him. Unfortunately the chain snapped and the original pendant was lost.
We met by chance at DesignYard where we had a chat about different options. He was looking to replace his pendant in white gold, as well as design a pendant for his wife and his children. For the boys he decided on a sterling silver pendant, the same as his white gold one. For his wife and daughter we made a pendant based on his unusual tattoo design.
This was such a special project! I hope it brings them all the focus and direction they need to succeed in their lives!
